Combining a newly shaped handle with a laminated blade that features a novel Damascus pattern with two interweaving patterns that resonate three-dimensionally with light and shadow. The Santoku knife is the most popular knife used in Japanese households, and is said to have been created by combining the advantages of the traditional Japanese knife for cutting vegetables and the chef’s knife (Gyutoh) introduced from the West.
