Special Ramen @ 980 yen at Kugatsudo in Shibuya
Ramen and gyoza are the match made in heaven. But have you ever wanted to eat ramen and enjoy sweets without having to go to a cafe afterwards? Kugatsudo is your dream come true shop where you get to eat high quality ramen and Japanese sweets all at once, in a fashionable, cafe-like space in Shibuya!
At lunch time, they will give you either extra noodle or bowl of rice for free. Team Takaski had the pleasure of trying the special ramen and the standard raman when we visited Kugetsudo. Arare, star-shaped rice crackers, are trademarks of Kugatsudo ramen.

During lunch time, they also have three different set menu, all for 930 yen; Ramen with shio-negi rice, ramen with soboro rice or ramen with sweet (check the photos of the menu here). At dinner time, they have more set menus to choose from (here for the entire dinner menu).
During our visit, we noticed that the shop was full of young women, chatting away while eating ramen and Japanese sweets. In a shop like this, you really feel more like you are in a cafe than a ramen shop. A great place to visit with your friends if you have a lot of catching up to do!
Kugatsudo is only a 10-minute stroll from Shibuya Station or 11 minutes from Harajuku Station on foot. It’s on a small street off Shibuya Koen Dori and across from a small park (see the map below). Ramen + Sweets + Cafe Style = Kugastudo in Shibuya
