Good sushi, tempura and sukiyaki can be a bit pricey. But you can easily have AWESOME udon for 500yen! Udon, one of the most traditional Japanese, comes in a wide range of varieties and you can choose depending on your mood or the weather of the day;-)
Our favorite udon shop is called Mugika (麦香) located in Setagaya-ku, Tokyo. The basic udon starts at 390yen and you can add extra stuff like tempura depending on how hungry you are.
