The art of udon (Japanese noodles)

By 5 May 2015Food

Good sushi, tempura and sukiyaki can be a bit pricey. But you can easily have AWESOME udon for 500yen! Udon, one of the most traditional Japanese, comes in a wide range of varieties and you can choose depending on your mood or the weather of the day;-)

Our favorite udon shop is called Mugika (麦香) located in Setagaya-ku, Tokyo. The basic udon starts at 390yen and you can add extra stuff like tempura depending on how hungry you are. Try cold udon (zaru udon) when it’s hot. If you happen to love curry, try curry udon! Have a look at The art of udon (Japanese noodles).
